Tennova Healthcare-Regional Jackson Supports Local Charities

JACKSON – Tennova Healthcare-Regional Jackson celebrated the holiday season with the 2015 Parade of Trees. Local healthcare clinics, physicians, and wives donated their time and attention to make the holiday season brighter for the Jackson community.

There were 9 beautifully decorated Christmas trees spread across the city. The trees were decorated by members of Tennova-Regional Jacksons medical community and were auctioned to raise money for local non-profit organizations according to Catherine Miller, chair of the event and wife of Tennova-Regional Jackson CEO Charles Miller.

The total raised from the silent auction of the trees was $6,725 said Ms. Miller.

The decorated and auctioned trees benefitted these local charities:  Ballet Arts of Jackson, Mainely Dogs, Youth Town-Eden Center, the Dream Center, RIFA, Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, Boys & Girls Club, Veterans Home, and the Jackson Police Department’s K-9 Unit.
