JACKSON - Tennova Healthcare recently welcomed Lawrence K. O’Malley, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, with Sports Orthopedics and Spine (SOS), to the medical staff at both Tennova Healthcare-Regional Jackson and Volunteer Martin.
Dr. O’Malley is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of orthopedic issues. He specializes in cartilage preservation techniques and arthroscopy procedures.
No stranger to West Tenn., O’Malley earned his undergraduate degree from Murray State University after growing up in Memphis. After earning his medical degree from University of Tennessee at Memphis, O’Malley completed a fellowship at Mississippi Sports Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi.
O’Malley joins SOS to provide the latest techniques in arthroscopy and sports team coverage. Having provided care for Clemson University, Furman University, Tulane University, and Millsaps College, Dr. O’Malley is prepared to be head team physician for the University of Tennessee at Martin.
