Andre’ D. Worrell, MD, Joins Medical Staff at HCMC


 

PARIS – Henry County Medical Center is pleased to announce that Andre’ D. Worrell, MD, FAAP, Pediatrician, has joined the medical staff and is now seeing patients at Paris Pediatrics.

Worrell completed his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at Aberdeen University in Scotland, UK, in 1982 and obtained his medical degree from The University of the West Indies in 1989.  He later completed his General Pediatric Residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship training, respectively, at Howard University and Brown University Medical School.

He is board certified in General Pediatrics and Neonatology and credits his childhood Pediatrician for the inspiration to enter the field of Medical Science.  He has joined Paris Pediatrics, PC and has admitting privileges at Henry County Medical Center.

His wife, Darlene, a Substance Abuse and Family Counselor, has been involved in Women’s Prison Ministry. Worrell has volunteered over the years with Catholic Social Services, Habitat for Humanity and in Cost Rica. His daughter, Leigh, has her undergraduate degree in Accounting, while son, Kahlil, enters his second year at Essex University Law School, UK, in the fall.  In his free time, Dr. Worrell enjoys cycling, swimming and chess.
