WTHC Foundation Announces Vice President

JACKSON - The West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation announces Beth Koffman as its new Vice President.

At this week’s Executive Committee meeting of the Board of Trustees, Frank McMeen received unanimous approval for the selection of Beth Koffman as Vice President of Operations of the Foundation.

Koffman joined the Foundation in April 2007 as Marketing and Fund Development Coordinator for Ayers Children’s Medical Center. In 2012, she assumed the role of Events and Community Relations Coordinator working with the Foundation’s volunteer boards and managing all Foundation events including its annual Charity Gala.

She is a graduate of Union University, a 2008 graduate of Leadership Jackson and 2014 graduate of WestStar.

Beth’s responsibilities under this new role have been expanded further than managing community boards and fundraising events to include the general oversight of the internal activities of the Foundation.  The scope of the Foundation has expanded, serving the community through more than 540 community funds and assets that exceed $29 million.

The Foundation is a public foundation governed by a self-sustaining board, meaning that board members select their successors to the board.  Now in its 30th year of operation, the Foundation is provided as a gift to the community from West Tennessee Healthcare.
