HCMC’s current remodel of the surgical suites includes the addition of a new large operating room and spacious seven bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). With the close proximity of the PACU to the operating room as well as with our expert surgical nursing team, the new unit provides our patients with the best care following surgical procedures.   

Diana Bevill, RN, Director of Surgery said they are very pleased with the remodel. It expands the PACU from a 4 to a 7 bed unit, allowing for better patient flow and a quieter and more comfortable environment for patients emerging from anesthesia.  

Upon completion of the entire remodel, HCMC will be hosting an open house to give members of the community the opportunity to get a behind the scenes look at the new surgical suite as well as to meet members of the team.
